Divorced when Patrick was 5 or so. Mother had custody, but as Patrick grew older and the first rise of Voldemort came her affections waned. She remarried to an old pureblood family, and Patrick was criticized far too often for his liking. In the summer of his thrid year at Hogwarts he moved to America, where his father was now settled, returning to England for the school year. His relationship with his mother was strained at best until eventually she was convinced it was best to cut off all connections or claim to the boy.

His father remarried in Patrick's 6th year. Henry's new wife was 20 at the time, only four years older then Patrick, and already pregnant, but the two got along fairly well. They had their first child when Patrick was 21. They get along well, though Patrick has remained in England since graduating.
